Who else thinks battlefield 3 beta sucks?

I think it sucks bad.



The destruction seems toned down from bad co 2 (less damage)

The sniper rifles have that annoying scope movement from COD and they are less powerfull

The enemies are hard to see and 3d spotting seems to be disabled.

The graphics are awful, spotting enemies at a distance is almost impossible and overall its just lacking something. EA promised something amazing with their bs trailers and what we got was garbage.

And the nerve of the EA rep to call the fans "ungrateful" for criticizing the game? Don't forget, these "ungrateful" fans are the ones who keep your company in business. Maybe you shouldn't bite the hand that feeds you.

I really hope there are some intensive patches coming out for this game, or else I and hoards of others will be canceling the pre-order.
I tried this BF3 BETA %26amp; I think so. ;)

Also the advanced PC graphics settings sucks %26amp; the 3D settings as well, `cause just a demo, decoration in the game menu but can`t try, only can change the resolution settings %26amp; a few basic settings. If anyone know the solutions for this settings pls gimme a right answer, THX ! ;)

Also why must to use a browser for start to play a BF3, just like a flash games from a browser ?
Strange.., or just for me ?

I have to agree I'm severely disappointed in it, The battlefield bad company 2 beta was far superior as well as the battlefield 1943 beta that is still active, the enemies are extremely difficult to see on any 480 tv, HD is the only way it is acceptable. There's no vehicles, 1 map, 1 gamemode etc. It seems like a watered down version hybrid of Medal of Honor (New one) and the battlefields with a little CODWho else thinks battlefield 3 beta sucks?
I can not believe they picked a level with no vehicles or destructible environments. What made BFBC2 so much fun were the vehicles and destroying buildings and cover. This beta level has no vehicles, no destruction, a ton of glitches, and it seems like every 10 seconds someone is shooting you in the back no matter where you spawn. All this hype about the Frostbite 2 engine and there is not one noticeable improvement to the game. WTF?
I keep going underground everytime i go prone, the scope drift, lag, other bugs like not being able to jump over a small brick

About the destruction... They made it small scale in beta so that the beta wouldnt be that big.... I do agree it sucks nd theres only two weeks left

I agree. I understand it's a beta but the gameplay is bland. For a beta there are still many problems that should have been fixed already, like not being able to sight in or going under the environment while prone. I won't be buying this game on release, I'm tired of run of the mill carbon copy FPS. Please innovate and impress us!
Do not compare this **** to CoD. I always agreed BF had better graphics then MW but I personally don't like playing it. CoD seems more fast paced, what I like. But now, I played the Beta because honestly the game looked amazing. After I was done, I laughed and put in MW2.
I agree. People who are reassuring themselves by saying it's just a beta are ignring the fact that the game is ~2 weeks from going gold.



As for the 'old build' excuse, doesn't that tell you something that DICE would rather show an older version of the game?
Yeah, it's real poor. The graphics are worse than Bad company, especially the gun graphics. Gameplay is so slow, and this is actually considered one of the small maps in the game.
There lots of glitches i'll give you that, but other than that everything else seems top notch. BTW spotting isn't disabled, on the PS3 you spot with the select button.
Yea, I know its just a Beta. But the gameplay is very slow and boring. And yea it sucks that the destructible environments has been dumbed down. The game feels like CoD. I find BFBC2 more fun.
Agreed. I am not impressed at all. Way too COD-like. Graphics look cartoonish compared to BFBC2. Gameplay is slow and glitchy. As of now I will not be buying the full release. I'm just glad I didn't pre-order.
i like it the snipers should be a 1 shot kill and i dont think know if the destruction has been toned done because ive only played one map
i 100% agree. this feels like a COD clone and i DID preorder it and am extremely pissed right now. why fix something that wasnt broke??
